NEW YORK (Reuters) – A helicopter that fell wanting its touchdown pad crashed into the Hudson River in New York City on Wednesday, injuring two folks, police and hearth officers mentioned.
The helicopter’s pilot and a heliport employee suffered “non-life-threatening” accidents within the incident, the town Fire Department wrote in a Twitter message.
The pilot was the one particular person aboard the helicopter on the time of the crash, the division wrote in a separate tweet.
Photo and video photos of the scene confirmed the plane upside-down and partially submerged within the river as crews labored to safe it.
